There are hand worked buttonholes using white thread through which are buttoned 3 opaque white shank type buttons shaped like globes on top. Just on the center seam next to the buttons is a row of hand worked decorative hem stitching done in white embroidery floss. The same floss is also used on the toes to make stems, buds, leaves, and one flower. The booties are bound and/or decorated with white seam tape around the ankle top, buttoned front edges, on either side of the sole seam, and across the instep. The soles are of white colored leather, and the interiors are lined with white fleece. a.) Right foot - The sole is almost entirely off because the thread has broken, and much of the seam tape has frayed. b.) Left foot - Much of the sole seam is open because thread has broken, and much of the seam tape has frayed. The bottom button is cracked. Dimensions: a.-b.) 3-3/4" length of sole, 1-5/16" width of sole, 3-1/4" from back top of ankle to sole at back of heel.....
