Photo shows the front entrance area of the Delger house inside the front gate. The front porch with a stripped awning is on the left side of the photo. The stairs leading up to the entrance are decorated with flower pots and a large, short, decorative column at the base of each banister. There is a large cement walkway down the center. On the right side are two small sections of lawn and the front picket fence and entrance gate. The shot is taken from inside the front gate looking toward Telegraph Ave. (Note: The Oakland History Room also has a copy of this photograph.)
