Thrown earthenware with slip-trailed leaf design with mat glazes in green, blue and tan.

Ovoid vasiform with short collar neck; carved with low relief eucalyptus leaves all over, smoothly burnished.

c. 1955

This is a cylindrical ceramic vessel with slightly convex sides and a narrow elongated opening. The surface is covered with off-white glaze and decorated with a blue colored fish motif.

early 1970's

File states that: "Based on other examples of his work, this piece was probably wholly made by Otto, although his wife Vivika's name is carved into the bottom of the piece.

c.1896-1900

Although unmarked, this is a glaze that is characteristic of Stockton Art Pottery and there is no doubt in my mind but that it is Rekston ware, from the Stockton Art Pottery. HB.
