The undated photo is taken in downtown Oakland, and it shows a busy corner with automobiles and pedestrians on the street in front of the Moise-Schlesinger building, as per the notation on the back. That building is of Victorian vintage, and it features bay windows, including a conical one on the corner, and a round, pointed steeple above it. Starting from right to left, the identifiable stores are Milen's, Money Back Smith, F.W. Woolworth, Oakland Toggery, and National Dollar Stores at center. Street car tracks and the catenary wires are shown from left lower to cnter.
