Card was obtained at the Monterey County Republican Party Headquarters in Salinas. Front side: Image of three Caucasians, apparently a family. A little boy is sitting on a man's shoulders as a woman watches. All are smiling at each other and standing in front of a tree. A yellow and blue "McCAIN" logo is printed beside them. Back side: In the lower righthand corner is an image of John McCain waving, with his wife standing next to him. The "McCAIN" logo is shown again, along with the website "JOHNMCCAIN.COM." This image, as well as text, are laid over a faded image of part of an American flag. The text reads: "John McCain has a consistent pro-family voting record. As someone who has personally witnessed life without human rights, John McCain consistently defends innocent human life. He's supported the Defense of Marriage Act, and he voted to confirm Supreme Court Justices Alito, Roberts, Thomas, and other conservative federal judges. "As President, John McCain will use the power of the Oval Office to advocate policies that help strenghten the American family and honor our conservative principles." A list of campaign statements follows: "Vigorously Defend the Right to Life Nominate Strict-Constructionist Judges Continue Funding Abstinence Education Defend America from Islamic Extremism Support Traditional Marriage" A quote follows: "'John McCain's career has been dedicated to defending human life and dignity.' -Sam Brownback, United States Senator." At the bottom left is the statement, "Paid for by John McCain 2008."
