There are men in a court hearing, deadbodies, police men shooting at a group of protesters, and a mob of people in front of a factory with smoke stacks. at the bottom right of the poster is text that reads "The Haymaket Riot". Below this title are two columns of text that reads: "The Knights of Labor (led by Frank J. Farrell, Terence V. / Powderly and Gen. Fitzhugh Lee) were destroyed after they / struck the McCormick Harvester Works in Chicago on May / 1, 1886 for a shorter workday. At a protest meeting against / police brutality someone threw a bomb, killing a policeman. / Eight of the leaders were brought to trial and founf guilty, / and four were hanged without any evidence that any of / them were involved in the Haymarket Square bombing.".
