Multi-color poster printed on white paper shows a man reclining on a blue floor next to a piece of metal chain. The man is nude except for a black leather jacket, a cap with "DOM" on the front, white socks, and black leather boots. The man has removed one boot and holds it over his genitalia. A white line divides the background behind the man, with "Gold Coast" printed on the upper portion in large white font against a red background. "501 N. Clark / Chicago" is printed at bottom center.This was Chicago's first leather bar, opened in 1958 by Chuck Renslow (artist Dom Orejudos aka Etienne). It closed in 1998. [LMC]
