"multichannel cartoon 3/20/90.1" printed at bottom left. An address and phone number for Seattle, WA is printed at bottom right.

Black and white poster contains a five panel cartoon. "The 'Multi-channel Radio Communications Operator' / reprinted from StormWarning! #12" is printed at top. The text of the cartoon discusses an "Army recruiter's ad often heard on African American radio stations" for joining the Army to become a Multi-channel Radio Communications Operator. The cartoon goes on to explain, "On the stations white kids listen to, the ads talk about the Army College Education Fund. But this ad is aimed at inner city youth so what does it promise the sucker who falls for it? Trade school!...Changing what they call a radio man does not change the fact that he is the first one to get shot. Pretty hard to hide a radio!..." Imagery includes portraits of African American men and women, a satellite, and soldiers in combat situations. "Another public service message from / Vietnam Vets Against the War Anti-Imperialist" is printed at bottom.
