Poster has gray background overall. The top of the poster has a stylized drawing. The drawing has a white background and shows a soldier from the Revolutionary War. The soldier is seen from behind, his uniform is tattered, his feet are shoeless and his head bandaged, he is holding a rifle and his powder horn and canteen can be seen. The bottom of the poster has text in black: " 'You might have tracked the army from / Whitemarsh to Valley Forge by the blood of their feet". Half of the men had no shoes. Those who did were soon reduced / to boiling and eating them.
