From Isabel Monta_o, Volunteer Coordinator for the Border Angels: "The cap [2010.60.2] and shirts [2010.60.1 and .3] were worn on the field meaning (when we traveled to the desert, did our outreach, marches, fundraiser, presentations and to many events)....Enrique [Morones, Border Angels founder] wore this shirt just a little over 2 months ago, this is a very popular shirts we know refer to it as the "Jesus" shirt." One black cap with an adjustable strap with a metal buckle on the back. The front of the hat has the words "Border Angels" in white thread and capital letters. The "B" of border and "A" of angels are styilized to look like the wings of an angel. Beneath this in white thread and capital letters are the words "Angeles De La Frontera." The inside brim of the hat has a blue label with "Port & Company" in white thread on it and below that a smaller blue tag with the words "100%cotton,, made in China, RN90836." Underneath that label is a smaller white label with "CP77, 108112508." (TKP 12/30/2010)
