The subdivision shown here contains 70 half acre lots; it is bounded on the west by Clinton Ave. and on the east by Matthews Ave. (Park Blvd.?) From north to south, the east-west streets are: Mound Ave., Excelsior Ave., Lincoln Ave., Prospect Ave., and Peralta Ave. Jones St. bisects the subdivision in a north-south direction. Marsh lands have been pencilled in on the printed index map. E.C. Sessions is the real estate agent. The "Tract List" compiled by Quentin lists several Jones Tracts; it is felt that the one described here is either the 1872 or the 1890 one.
