Tribune clipping on the back,[part of which is missing], June 2, 1939-- "Electric weldin.... with the automatic machine C.M. Daggett (left) and R.A. Hallam are show.... to a minimum the rivet gun racket at the Moore plant. All large sections.....fore going into the hull. - Tribune photo." Photo shows two men squatting on the ground (or possibly the deck of a ship) and working a small piece of machinery with a funnel at the top. The machine appears to be filling in a crack with some substance.
