This is a photographic negative of Artie Wilson, an African-American who was an Oakland Oak's ball player. He is in the club's dugout and three other men are also in the picture. Artie is being interviewed by a man wearing a suit. Artie is also holding what appears to be a box containg a watch that was given to him in regards to playing for the Oakland Oaks. Artie is dressed in his Oaks uniform and wearing an Oaks jacket. (D. Curry, 4/30/02) A PCL historian who was in doing research believes that the man standing on Wilson's left is Oaks owner Brick Laws.
