This is a photographic negative of some of the players of the Oakland Oaks baseball team. In this photo the players are lined up in what appears to be the batting order. This conclusion has been made soley because there are nine players in this photo and each of these men are holding bats upon their shoulders. Eight of these men seem to be more in line because the player on the far right of the photo is turned differently and not lined up the same way. In the background the grandstandscan be seen.
