Tribune caption on the back, July 14 1956: First Studio - Jimmy Drake demonstrates how he recorded his song hit, "Transfusion," in kitchen of his home at 593 W. Grand Ave. Note tape recorder on sink. Stove is at left. Drake subsequently built soundproof recording studio in bedroom of home. Original Tribune envelope: "Drake, Jimmy: Composer."
