Second advertisement poster from the Home Promotional Campaign of 1929-1930 for Alameda County. The catch phrase for the poster is "You Ask- What is My Part?...How can you do something to help speed your community's glorious destiny?" The ad states that you can support your community (of Alameda County) by encouraging people who live out of state to consider moving to Alameda County (for the good climate, buisiness, etc), shop in local stores and buy local products. The ad concludes with "Do these things and you will help assure the continuance of the Balanced Prosperity enjoyed by Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and sister cities of Alameda Couny in past years." A drawing of a man sitting at a desk reading papers appears at the top. The donor's father was the graphic designer for the posters, E. Adams.
