Fourth advertisement poster from the Home Promotional Campaign of 1929-1930 for Alameda County. The catch phrase for the poster is "Do You Shop The Modern Way...Or Are You Living In The Past?" The ad encourages local residents (of Alameda County) to appreciate the local stores for their fashionable merchandise and how quickly they get new merchandise. One has all of the modern conveniences necessary in their own community when they live in Alameda County (no need to go anywhere else). A line drawing of the interiour of a retail store appears at the top of the poster. The donor's father was the graphic designer for the posters, E. Adams.
