Photo depicts: In the center of the photo is a floating milk carton with the top cut off. It hangs from a wire leading to a window at the top of the photo. A man's arm and leg hang out the window as he lowers the carton to panhandle from his window sil. The photo is cut off at the window sil level. Below him on the Haight-Ashbury sidewalk is Juhl's Pet Shop which has a hand drawn sign below its awning reading Be Kind to Hippies Week. Next to the shop is a hand painted sign which can be assumed to read Acid Ally - the A in Acid is cut off in the photo. Photo caption reads "It was just a nornmal Sunday yesterday in the Haight-Ashbury, where a bearded, barefoot 'panhandler' sat in an upstairs window fishing for coins with a milk carton, while another of the children staged an exuberant 'love dance' in a crosswalk to the delight of motor sight-seers. In Golden Gate Park some displayed art works and hundreds more were just grooving."
