Depiction: A large crowd of student demonstrators stand around a square of sod in the middle of Haste Street near the UC Berkeley campus. It was laid as a symbolic "People's Park." A half-dozen men are dancing around the grass holding hands. Another man is spraying them with a hose. Behind this scene and a chainlink fence stands some National Guard soldiers. The soldiers seem to be based in this area as there are tents, jeeps and trucks to be seen. A number of journalists can be seen in the crowd.
