A group of 12 children are dancing (ring around a Rosie?) in a ring on the lawn (probably in front of) at Children's Fairyland. They are all costumed, and one wears a gnome's mask. Two of the girls are Alice-in-Wonderland look-alikes. One is holding a shepherd's crook. A woman clothed in a polka dot dress and hat is giving directions near the far side of the ring. A large group of spectators is in a semicircle behind a temporary restraining line, watching the dance. Two young drummer boys, part of a band (not shown), are at the left edge of the photo. In the distance at center, behind the spectators, there is a puppet theatre, and, slighly to the right, a kiosk. For a closer look at the theater, see 2000.2.207. The date on the back of the photo is May 1, 1966. The name of Burton Weber is pencilled in on the back, but there is no indication of who Weber is.
