Another man, to the right, poses with paper and pencil in hand, as if tallying up the costs of the miners' supplies. To his left, a blacksmith poses holding a shoeing hammer and nails, while two small Native American Boys attend tot he mules. The miners both carry large pistols holstered conspicuously to their belts.
