wooden wine crate containing straw-covered bottles of Madeira (full). Crate is nailed shut with metal straps along edges. Top/lid of crate reads:"Care A.S. Moseley, 310 California Street, San Francisco, Cal" painted in black. Stenciled in caps along side of crate: "Morgan Line and Sunset Route." Also stenciled on one side of crate is Madeira," some other illegible writing visible. Front of crate: "W.H. Fearing, 45 Broad St. NY" stenciled in black. See also: H99.42.37- wine bottle, Madeira.
