Banquet program is white paper with printing in blue and gold color. It documents a banquet held on February 14, 1940 by the National Association of Manufacturers titled "Banquet to Honor America's Modern Pioneers on the Frontiers of Industry." Held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, this occasion also was in commemoratino of the 150th anniversary of the U.S. Patent System. Of the 'Modern Pioneers' to be honored, Mr. Harold Tolman Avery, the donor's father, is first on the list.
