The image shows Betty Tisdale holding a small Vietnamese baby in her arms- both are looking away from the camera in a very stoic manner. A caption on the reverse reads "Betty Tisdal evacuated 217 from An Lac orphanage. She had to leave behing 125 children who were 10 years or older." Above the caption, hand written, it reads orphan and lady who heads a Saigon orphanage.
