This is the hard drive for a personal computer, made from kits by the donor at his home in Berkeley in 1977. It is a metal box with black trim, a plastic face, and a metal handle on the side. Equinox 100 is written in white letters across the front. There is a reset switch on the left side and a key pad with the numbers 1-7 and the letters S, M, E, D. There is a hole for an on/off switch, but the switch with key in place has become disloged and is now resting in the box. There is a black top with vents which slides off, allowing access to the inside of computer. There are eight removable memory cards in place
