Flower Pot
Gift of the Reuben and Muriel Savin Foundation

Per S.B. - Verso: SAVIN
Per S.B. - Footed, stoneware flower pot, glazed in white, blue and black. Irregular 5-sided form of slab construction creates a massive feel. On foot, clay has been pushed into pace by fingers, giving the appearance of a picket fence. The foot is glazed black. The body has a lot of texture from combing and carving (curved lines, some filled with glaze; carved dots).
