Caption only pasted from newspaper: "March Fong Woman of the Year Apr 20, 1970." From back of photo: Fong 1 col x 3" p-5, 1st write story This is a formal/posed/publicity photo. Mrs. Fong is seated in what apears to be a library. Behind her are four shelves of books or official binders. The books/binders range in color from light (bottom) to dark (top) and are of various sizes. The majority take up the entire height of the shelf while some others do not. Mrs. Fong is seated at a table with her elbows resting on the table with her left hand, wearing what appear to be a square-cut diamond ring and band, over her right hand. She is looking to one side of the photographer and looks neutral - neither smiling nor frowing - her mouth is closed. Her dark hair is worn in a smooth bouffant/teasted style with bangs that cover most of her forehead. Her hair covers her ears. She is wearing a high-necked black dress with sleeves that go to the elbow. She wears a three-standed pearl necklace. The pears are of varying sizes with the largest in front and the smallest in back at the clasp. She appears to be wearing eye make-up and lipstick.
