Market Street, San Francisco, 1916 Preparedness Day Parade photo used as an exhibit at trial. From caption at bottom of photo: "(NY4) SAN FRANCISCO, JAN. 8 -- Here's picture of 1916 Preparedness Day Parade which Tom Mooney was convicted of bombing. Mooney claimed man leaning on parapet (black arrow) and woman (black arrow, right) were himself and wife and clock (white arrow, left) proved he was here, not at scene of blast. (See FX2) (AP Wirephoto) (JB12200FLS) 1939." Another version of 2005.1.39 and 2005.1.41. Preparedness Parade formations marching on Market Street taken fron a roof top. Crowds on left of photo along sidewalk and in front of buildings. First building on left side of photo has a curved front and is approximately seven stories. Other buildings next are much shorter. Beyond these is a very tall building with many windows probably fronting on the side street. Buildings beyond it are of varying heights. In the midst of the crowded sidewalk, in front of a two story building is a white arrow pointing down to a clock. On the right side of the photo along the parapet are four people watching the parade. In the upper portion are a couple with their backs to the camera. There are two black arrows pointing down to the man (in a suit) and a woman (in a dark coat and hat). Closer to the camera are two others, a woman in a dark coat and light colored hat and a girl in a light colored dress holding onto her hat, both leaning on the parapet looking down at the parade. The parapet is accented with a pattern of alternating bricks.
