"Dressmaking Made Easy" by Laura I. Bald is a small book with a green buckram spine and front and back covers of printed paper with a metallic gold background and squares of blue, green, purple, tan and brick color. The 181 pages of the book are off-white, printed in black and well illustrated with drawings on the topic of dressmaking. Various types of seams are shown, tips on tailoring, hemming, selecting a dress pattern, selecting the appropriate fabric, etc.
The author, Laura I. Baldt was an Assistant Professor of Household Arts, Teachers College, Columbia University.
