Gift of Cherin Jones

black cord

Per gift agreement: Beads are attached to a central silver form. A black glass pin decorates the end of each bead attachment (a replacement bead is on file). The dynamic, asymmetrical form of this necklace is characteristic of Bielawski's work. He was trained at the Insitute of Design, Chicago, and worked under Laslo Moholy-Nagy. Mr. Bielawski made necklaces for many of his wife Martha's friends, including this one for Mrs. Jones (donor).
