"California Raisin Originals" is a 32 page booklet from the Home Economics Department of the California Raisin Advisory Board, Fresno, CA. It's glossy cover is printed in full color. On the inside of the cover is an introduction, "What's a California Raisin" by Martha Rohrer, Nutritionist, Director of Home Economics. The recipes vary from "Famous Amazin' Raisin Layer Cake," to "Ginger Beef with Raisin Sauce," to "North Beach Panetone," to "Yosemite Vagabond Baked Beans." A table of contents is printed on the inside of the back cover.

Publications of this nature were printed and distributed to promote the use of a specific product, in this case, California Raisins.
