2006.67.2

This photonegative accompanies the Ghirardelli chocolate delivery wagon (2006.67.2). The wagon as depicted in the photo is the same or similar wagon to the one accessioned in the collection. The photograph shows the wagon hitched to a team of horses, with drivers and full loan. It was photographed in front of the "Woolen Mill" a part of the original Ghirardelli Co. factory in San Francisco, CA. THe date of the photo is unknown, but it appears to be ca. 1880s. THe negative was probably also a give from William Roth, who acquired the Ghirardelli property in the early 1960s. Negative received from Sacramento History Center with wagon and accessories. PCK
