In the center. Harry Bartell is wearing a white shirt, dark vest, jacket and tie. He is holding on to a bridle in each hand. The man on the proper right wears a light jacket and tie. The man on the proper left is wearing an elaborate uniform complete with medals and gold braid. All three men wear hats. The setting of the photograph appears to be a downtown city street.
