2008.6.1.85 to.88 found in a glassine sleeve labeled in ink with cursive script, "Chinquapin / Mexico / (lend to / Oak. Mus.)."





Black and white photonegative contains an image of a cobblestone road that extends from the foreground at lower right into the background at center left. The road extends through a stone wall with a large open gate and a clay tile roof seen in the distance at center left. Stone walls run parallel to the road. An archway is integrated into the far wall in the background at center near a rectangular bell tower. Vegetation grows in cracks between paving stones and tall trees are visible in the background along the upper side of the composition.
