Gift of Steve Briscoe

This menu is not folded. (It would have been folded, but it appears to have been unused.) The cover is printed primarily in green and red "Good Morning, Good Morning, Breakfast Menue." Inside is printed in black. The top of the menu reads "Good Morning!" with a small bird printed directly below. The "Club Breakfast" is listed... "Prices Include a Fresh Cup of Hot Coffee," choice #1 is "Choice of Coffee Cake, Butterhorn, Doughnuts or Toast... .25," .....choice #7 is "Ham, Bacon or Sausage, Two Eggs with Potatoes, Toast or Rolls... 1.00." Also listed are "Fresh, Crisp Cereals," "Fruits or Juices," "Griddle Cakes, Toast and Rolls," "Breakfast Dishes," and "Beverages." "Life Begins with Breakfast."

Although there is no date or location on this menu, because it was found with other Oakland and Berkeley menus from the 1940s, it is assumed to be from the East Bay, and probably c. 1947.
