A caption for the photo from the newspaper it ran in has been pasted to the back of the image: "This catfish did not get away from J'Barrie Turner, 12, of Richmond, who shows off the biggest fish caught yesterday when the Richmond Police Activities League took a group of kids fishing at San Pablo Dam reservoir as part of the organization's programs for inner-city youth. The PAL program, open to boys and girls, includes sports, group discussions and other activities designed to help young people avoid drug involvement and other pressures they face today. For information about Richmond PAL call C.A. Robertson at 234-2260" The article itself obscures some handwritten information, the most of which can be made out is: "...fishing trip... J'Barrie Turner age 12 of Richmond... with a huge catfish he caught... Pablo Reservoir." The image depicts Turner from behind, walking down the dock holding the hook with the catfish on it.
