This is an inkjet print on paper of a photography collage that shows a panorama of Yosemite National Park. The panorama incorporates two earlier photographs: Edward Weston's "Juniper," 1936 at far left, and the sepia tone Eadweard Muybridge photograph "Ancient Glacier Channel, at Lake Tenaya, Mammoth Plate No. 47," 1872 at right. The artist painstakingly researched the exact location of the earlier photographs, matching their position exactly. A mountain range is visible in the background dotted with pine trees, and two large boulders appear in the foreground at center and right.
