Provenance (per Rene de Guzman): Artwork came directly from artist and dealer. Per Rene de Guzman: "Acquiring this work is an opportunity to unite the working process with a finished artwork. While the acquisition may be considered ephemera, the artist considers it to be art that reflects an artistic attitude informed by Buddhist philosophy. The acquisition provides a rare opportunity to offer the public an insight into the creative process and also to think about what does and does not constitute art.
