Front side of card shows a yellow, green, blue, and red graphic with the words "Terremoto LATINO" ("Latin Earthquake"). A female model wearing short shorts and a tank top is posing to the left of these words. The background is mottled green, yellow, and white. In the upper righthand corner is the price, "$5," and at the bottom are the words, "Tarjeta Telefonica Prepagada" ("Prepaid Telephone Card"). The reverse gives instructions in English and Spanish for using the card to make a phone call. A scratch-off area, which has been scratched off, exposes the PIN (personal identification number) used to place the phone call. The top edge of the card shows perforations where the card was torn off of the hanger on which it was sold. Used by Martha Guadalupe, an employee of the Oakland Museum of California's restaurant, to make phone calls to her family in Mexico.
