This is a color digital print triptych of a young boy in a Boy Scouts of America uniform. The image on the left shows the boy looking downward so the top of his hat is visible. The middle image shows the boy in the same pose looking directly into the camera. The image on the right shows the boy looking directly into the camera while holding his hat in his hands.

Micaëla Gallery printout:"THE MIDDLE-CLASS PROTESTANT NIGHTMARE, / STANDARD LEADER, SCOT / Oakland 1965 / I was teaching a Saturday children's art class at CCAC as part of my teaching major when I was told about Scot. He was the first kid I had ever seen with long hair. In fact, I thought he was a girl at first. He told me that he was a Boy Scout. I asked him to wear his uniform to the next class the following Saturday. He did, I gave him a few drills and he proved to be a real Boy Scout. I asked him to pose for some photographs to blow some minds, he knew what I meant, and he was great and very cool."
