Bottom center edge has paragraph of very small, red text reading "This drawing was done for Akwesasne Notes by Johnny Creed Coe of the Cherokee Nation?"and going on to describe the symbolism of the poster artwork. The inscription finishes with "This poster is one of a series published by Akwesasne Notes. It is available, on heavy poster paper with colors, / Write: Akwesasne Notes, Mohawk Nation, via Rooseveltown, N.Y. 13683."

This black poster features a large, black and white drawing of a circle with feathers hanging from the bottom half of its edge. The drawing covers the full length and width of the poster. Red text along the top of the circle reads "Unity Under The Creation". At the center of the circle is a representation of a bison head with a human face looking outwards from either side. There are several necklaces around the bison's neck. The circle is divided in half horizontally by a hilly horizon, the area above which is filled with zigzag lines. There are 4, small, stylized animals along the inside edge of the circle. Branches extend from the circle on the far right and left edges and at the attachment point for each feather. There are 8 feathers and they have black lower tips. There is a red, printed artist's signature below one of the far right feathers that reads "Johnny Creed Coe / Cherokee Artist / 1976".
