Allied Printing logo and number 3 in black ink at the top near the center of the poster.

Poster is a reproduction of a newspaper page - two article titles: "1946 General Strike: the day labor brought Alameda County to a stop" and "Fight against strikebreaking united East Bay labor". One title runs across the top and is followed by a photo of a crowd huddled in a street. The second title is centered near the bottom and is followed by an italicized subtitle and three photos of people dancing and singing in the streets. The text is divided into nine columns and gives the incomplete story for the first article. Vertically at the bottom right is the newpaper title: East Bay Labor Journal, dated September 1, 1982. At the top right, also vertical, is a gray text box with information on the Oakland Museum and its exhibit on the General Strike.
