Poster printed with black and red ink on newsprint in the October 17, 1970 edition of the publication "The Black Panther". The poster appears on a single sheet with pages 11 and 14 on the other side. A single line black border frames the outside of the page, and a smaller rectangular border frames a black and white image at center of a man with an afro hairstyle and mustache wearing dark clothing. A large red star is centered over his head and extends beyond the smaller black border. A literary piece titled "Black Mother" by Alprentice ''Bunchy'' Carter is printed at lower right.
