Poster appears as two sponge paintings of a large flower and a small blue bird. The bird is in the lower left holding a green branch. The flower looks like a hibiscus with a large green and yellow pistil. A bayonet pierces the scene. Although printed in blue, the bird is supposed to be a dove, evident from the olive branch in its beak. This uncredited poster juxtaposes the serenity of the beautiful flower and the peaceful dove with the militaristic bayonet. [LMC]
