Nine (9) butterflies in a Riker Mount which is a thin, glass-topped, cotton-filled exhibition case. Upper side of male brown with purple iridescence; female more orange. Hindwing of both sexes with broad orange band at margin. These range in size from 3/4 x 1 1/8 to 3/4 x 3/4.  The butterflies in the third row as well as the butterfly on the bottom between the rows are folded. The top six butterflies are male.  the bottom three are female.  Verso: A dark pink stamp that has a box with the following information inside: "Collection of Clay Ward Inglewood-California NAME [line] on DATE [line] LOCATION [line]" In black handwritten ink on the NAME line: "Heodes helloides" In black handwritten ink on the DATE line: "June 22, 1934" In black handwritten ink on the LOCATION line:"Payson Canyon Utah"  In handwritten black ink "Purplish Copper" Male and female symbols are stamped below in pink that correspond to the butterflies on recto.
