This is a mahogany writing table that is incised with figures and floral motifs.  Decoration appears on the table top in a border near edge and on the drawer fronts.  Brass hardware with scarab-shaped drawer pulls.  A stretcher appears between the front and back legs on each side connecting at the table's octagonal feet.
