Received from: Mrs. Laura Thatcher "Provenance--Achomawi speaking peoples."(Revol) "Has two bands on base of three-strand parallel twining."(Dawson,65)[vv,6/91] "Not Shasta or Achomawi, certainly a trade piece, most likely Wintu, traded to Nomlaki. Laura Thatcher was a Nomlaki woman, mother of the late Wallace Burrows of Grindstone Rancheria."
