Slippers. Description: blue satin slippers, 1 pair, open toe, verticle (sic) design of three "flowers" on top, mules, "Comfy" made in U.S.A., on bottom of slipper. Dimensions: height of heel 1.75", length of sole 7.375", width 3". History: Peter Larsen Collection. From the History Information Station: Object: Three pairs of silk covered shoes, ca. 1920-1940. History: The violet colored shoes were purchased at the City of Paris department store in San Francisco. The aqua pair was sold by Sommer & Kaufmann, also in San Francisco.
