Badge. Description: "Deputy Constable, Brooklyn Township #3" 6-pointed star; made of silvery metal. Information on back regarding maker: "Ed Jones, 906 Broadway, Oakland". History: The township of Brooklyn was incorporated into Oakland in the early 1900's. (D. Cooper, 10/98) Brooklyn was annexed to Oakland in 1872.
