Inez Brooks-Myers, May 13, 2009: This advertising card for "Lion Coffee" is full color, printed on white stock, and is die-cut in the shape of a youth (wearing knickers, red shirt, with white over sleeves, and a green cap) holding a cleaver in his right hand. There are tabs on either side that fold back so the paper doll would stand, probably in front of the butcher's block (H75.70.11A).

Lion Coffee produced many die-cut stand up advertising cards. Many of them were paper dolls, primarily girls from other nations.
